... Nicole Aliya Rahim
Aliya holds a degree in psychology and Masters applied behavioural analysis and is a board certified behavioural analyst working in downtown Toronto providing behavioural consultation. In depth, Aliya started Nikah.ca, as she knows the intricacies of finding a spouse, planning a wedding and surviving the first year of marriage can be exceptionally stressful. Moreover, Aliya started Nikah because she felt there was an absence of Islamic inspired traditions and modest wedding attire when it came todoing research on wedding planning. Many of Nikah’s articles are specifically designed to help bridesand grooms work through their hard but exciting times by drawing from principles from psychology and behavioural analysis. At the Nikah.ca wedding event, you will see numerous visual inspirations from the traditional as well as modern Islamic world. Richard is a financial analyst, CPA, CGA and the financial officer behind Nikah.ca. Graduating from York University, Richard Ali is highly involved in Nikah’s strategic planning and research. In his spare time, Richard loves playing soccer, travelling and martial arts.

Shareef works as a business manager at a one of Canada’s largest financial institutions. With his combined education and interests in IT, project management and business, Shareef is the perfect CMO at Nikah.ca. As a leader and manager, Shareef is extremely diligent in setting and reaching practical goals and encourages outstanding performance. In addition to that, Shareef is newly marriedand his passions include: basketball and golf.
... Roda Omer
Roda has a degree in architecture, experience in law and has recently completed her PMP (Project Management Certification). Roda has served as a manager for various conferences and conventions in Toronto but more than that; Roda is a traveller, writer, visionary, and leader. Currently, Roda serves as the director for vendor operations and sales for the Nikah wedding event by which her experience in project management keeps her tremendously organized and on top of our vendor’s needs. In addition to this, Roda Omer is a home schooling mother to two lovely children.
... Idil Said
Idil started out as one of our brides-to-be in a Nikah.ca article. Due to her great fashion sense and love of everything bridal, Idil became our content manager and one of our social media reps. Furthermore, Idil loves photography and assisting brides through their journey of planning the most stressful yet delightful day of their lives. Uniquely, Idil hand sews her own dresses and abayas and is finishing her degree at York University in Social Work. Additionally, Idil is the proud mommy of a newborn baby boy.
... Rayshaud Jameer
Rayshaud holds a certificate in Human resources and studied accounting at Ryerson University. Rayshaud has also widely travelled to different parts of the Muslim world, where he studied Arabic, hadith and fiqh. Currently, Rayshaud has launched his first book with Bukhari Publications as well as has opened his own translations company: Waslia Media. Rayshaud loves to travel, attend Mixed martial arts classes and read extensively. Rayshaud helps to advise us here at Nikah.ca.
